Seafront Regeneration
Game4Padel have now opened the new tennis facilities we have recently completed at Hove Beach Park. There are six new tennis courts, which form part of the overall upgrade to racket facilities at Hove Beach Park. Four new padel courts opened in December 2024.
As well as tennis and padel, there will also be table tennis and pickleball available at Hove Beach Park, making this one of the premier destinations in Sussex for racket sports.
The tennis, padel and pickleball will be operated by Game4Padel and its experienced coaching team.
The courts are now open for bookings to the general public via Game4Padel.com
Our Kingsway to the Sea regeneration project is reinvigorating the underused facilities and green spaces on the seafront in West Hove by creating Hove Beach Park, a new park stretching from the King Alfred Leisure Centre to Hove Lagoon. Predominantly funded by the UK government, the park will be formally opened later this spring.
Councillor Julie Cattell, Lead Member for Major Projects, said: “I’m delighted that tennis is returning to Hove Beach Park now that the new courts are open.
“The racket sports offered by Game4Padel will join bowls, croquet, skating, skateboarding, BMX and sand sports, ensuring the new park offers sports and leisure facilities for all ages and abilities.”
“The range of sports facilities, gardens and cafes in Hove Beach Park are transforming the area. I hope that the superb reception these new facilities are receiving from users will inspire the work of the new Seafront Development Board to transform other parts of our seafront.”
All players use these courts at their own risk. Do not play if:
